Kim lives locally with her husband Neil and their two young children. She is a big fan of the playgroups and parks that make Southfields and Wandsworth a great place for growing families, as well as the many cafes and restaurants which are so welcoming to babies and toddlers - and their buggies!
Kim first moved to Wandsworth ten years ago, returning to her roots in a part of London where her own mother grew up in the late 1950s. Before taking time out from her career as a chartered accountant to look after her children, Kim worked as a finance manager for a global engineering firm.
Kim says: "I love living here. There's such a lot for young families to do – and we're still so close to the centre of town."
Speaking up about local issues
Kim is actively involved in our community as a school governor, a member of the advisory board for a local children's centre and a trustee of First Touch, a charity which supports the Neonatal Unit at St George's Hospital.
She says: "A real sense of community, great local services and low council tax attract and keep people in our part of London. I promise to work hard to make Southfields even better."
