Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has announced a fare freeze on Transport for London (TfL) services in London. Pay as you go bus fares and single tube journeys are frozen, while others services, like travel cards, will rise by just 1%, in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI).

As you may know, sadly a few weeks ago one of our local councillors, Adrian Knowles, passed away. Adrian was a passionate local councillor, working tirelessly for residents, and also a personal friend. He will be sorely missed.

Thank you for the support! All three of our candidates enjoyed huge support, both from the electorate and from local activists. Local membership is surging ahead as lots of people join Wandsworth Conservatives off the back of our extremely successful campaigns.

Local business woman and St Mary's Park ward Councillor Melanie Hampton has successfully nominated the Battersea Summer Scheme for Aviva Insurances 'Broker Community Fund' Award, which has given £10,000 to support the schemes work with local young people.
