£1.9m investment in Balham town centre

Jubilee Bridge gets huge local support

A proposal for a new foot/cycle bridge that will provide a much needed link across the Thames between Battersea and Fulham has been submitted to Wandsworth Council for full planning permission. If granted, we could welcome a new pedestrian bridge alongside the existing Battersea (Cremorne) railway bridge. The project was announced last year as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
